Hi all, is there a story of how the rules of wearing medals on a hangers changed within decades? Apart from the German or Dutch mounting, I mean just the timeline when approximately the modern "broken" ones were introduced and what was the main rules of wearing the earliest medals up to 1904/5 war - on many photos they seem hanging on a simple metal stick. Thnx, however this ST is definitely 5th. Or maybe there have been differences in size in 6th class during the war. I guess they were always like smaller versions of 5th.

Hi all. Can someone explain please differences between versions of rising sun. This I guess has a bit smaller red roundel in the centre than the others. It sits in front if the treasure 5th, so it has to be a 5th as well, but the gold is gone and its nearly perfectly silver everywhere. Thank you in advance for some words on it.
