The condition is indeed interesting. Ribbons in the middle are literally melted with the metal parts of the hanger. Maybe someone knows what it could have been exposed to? It's not a regular ageing process from the weathering and oxidising.

Hi, can you help me identify the meaning of the kanjis on a medal bar? I see 実用薪X 二八五五五〇, however don't have a clue about it. Is it a name and a soldiers number? Many thanks in advance. R My mistake. Third kanji should be of course 新. And the rest is here.
