Personal Introduction / WW1 .800 EK2 Makers Mark Info?
in Germany: Imperial: The Orders, Decorations and Medals of The Imperial German States
Posted
Hey All! Long time browser, first time poster, and recently a new militaria collector. I am looking forward to joining and learning from the imperial german collector community here on gmic!
Recently I got this ww1 ek2 from a mixed lot of imperial german awards on ebay. This included a Merit cross for War Aid and and 1/2 mark coin, but this awards maker has eluded me for some time. From the research ive done from "The Iron Times" I seem to have narrowed the stamp down to "crescent crown 800". While I know that the 800 means a higher silver content (.800 parts silver if im correct), the details on the maker have evaded me. So any info or help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou!
Jim
