The seller is describing it as WW1ish.

The prerequisite would be it is a real one.

do you may know if there is any way to determine the period in which an

Order of the Sacred Treasure was awarded.

Are there any markings or engravements on it which could help with the identification?

I am interested in Meiji and Taisho pieces from 6th class up.

Gentlemen,

out of curiosity I bought an Albrechtsorden Ritterkreuz (A.R. 2) with reversed swords.

The dealer whom I got it from told me that this was done by the recipient to reject the armistice of 1918.

When visiting the Lippisches Landesmuseum in Detmold (Germany) I found another example of reversed swords: An Offiziersehrenkreuz.
