I'm researching an ancestor by the name of Arnoldi. He was a settler in British East Africa and involved in the War.
I've read that he had fought in the EAST Africa campaign leading the Belfield Mounted Scouts; a group of some 100 Afrikaaner farmers and hunters into the Selous alongside the 25th royal Fusilliers.
Any info regarding his involvement in the Belfield Scouts and other options would be greatly appreciated.
Presently I reside on the outskirts of Arusha Tanzania and am planning a recce camping trip to visit various point of interest pertaining to the above.
