I. Brief description of personal feat or merits
When being in the regiment guards junior sergeant Malkin fulfilled 29 successful sorties by ИЛ-2 plane for assault and bombing of the enemy?s equipment and troops. Following the last award, he fulfilled 29 successful sorties by ИЛ-2 plane for assault and bombing of the enemy?s equipment and troops.
In air fights with the enemy he is a persistent, fearless fighter. Over the battlefield he is brave, at that he displays initiative and quick wit. He immediately informs his Commander on everything he notices, thus assisting in successful fulfillment of combat mission and maneuvering to escape flak. When fulfilling combat missions, he displays courage, bravery and valour.
Thus, for example:
March 27, 1945 at Valga when fulfilling a military mission he helped his Commander to identify the front line in spite of low visibility.
April 08, 1945 upon assault of enemy?s airdrome Noytif, he neutralized with fire of his machine-gun 1 ?? emplacement, which prevented the group to assault the airdrome.
He is disciplined, self-possessed, modest, he is an example to follow, he is stirring in battles. He is skillful in use of machine-gun. Due to his excellent work in battles he was awarded a citation by the command. For 29 successful sorties by ИЛ-2 plane for assault and bombing of enemy?s equipment and troops and for courage, bravery and valour, displayed at that, he deserves to be recommended for the government award - ?Glory, 2nd cl.? order.
