wasn't there a militaria dealer in england that was selling these contemporary cases (or something very similar) for a variety of awards? if i recall correctly, many of them were configured as deluxe iron cross/ knight cross cased sets. please correct me if i am in error!

In the war’s period he was wounded twice. He is a participant of the fights on the bridgehead for the river Visla and others. In the defense, on daily basis, he pays a lot of attention to the reinforcement of the defensive positions. He is disciplined, good-willed, and an educated officer.

1. Brief description of personal feat
In the ongoing battles for the City Vittenberg on 26.4.45, showing courage and bravery in the advancing battles, he skillfully led the combat operations with his platoon that actively participated in repulsing 3 counterattacks of the enemy; and with his platoon was the first to break into the factory and with gun and machinegun fire destroyed 2 machinegun positions with their gunners and up to 15 German soldiers. In repulsing the onslaught of 3 enemy attacks, Comrade Dudar’ was wounded.
He deserves the Governmental award, order of the “Patriotic War 2nd Class”.
