Hi, Christian,
several years ago I had a little private exhibition in my farmhouse. Today I have to store 16 tons of soviet and other stuff. The museum is gone and containers everywhere. The photos were taken during my exhibition in a museum . Perhaps I will have my own Cold War museum (only 1000 sqm) next year (not in Germany)

The Photos were taken in a museum . I had the opportunity to do an exhibition on life and State in GDR. On 400 sqm I tried to show how GDR was .
All the Items are from my own collection.

Lenin display. The banner in the back was taken from a party office at Stalingrad. An injured officer took it to Germany with the last plane which left the town.
The showcase contains statues, busts, coins, stickers, stamps and books

I must congratulate you on saving so many items other people would simply like to forget. Your collection should be the basis for a national "Zeitgeschichte" historical museum. You have been saving so much that has been thrown away....
The photographs were taken in a museum where I was allowed to play for 11 weeks on 400 sqm. Unfortunately the museum was not big enough.
The Germans are not ready for working on their cold war history. For this reason I am planning to leave the country and have an own museum on cold war history in another country.
Regards
Frank .

Hello
sometimes you can still find them on smaller markets in former GDR. In the first time after the end of NVA they were sold for nearly nothing. Today they are expensive. I managed to get two of them. One for exhibition and one for daily use. Very good quality.
