Hi everyone please find my Winterschlacht Im Osten 1941-42 no maker mark on the suspension ring but the packet is marked on the back but I can't read it properly, so I'm wondering if these two items are a match or just been thrown together As always any help in this matter would be gratefully received, cheers Cameron

Hi everyone I ve come across this flag on a website and id like everyone's opinions as to the nature of this flag is it good? Thanks for any information received in advance, cheers Cameron NSRL Flag , bright colours NSRL Flag approx. 1 metre by 2 metres so a nice size , no maker ,some tiny nips but nothing that detracts from this bright and scarce item. Look at that eagles face , pure Art Deco !!

Hi Vince, thanks for the comment, yeah it seemed a cheaper option than paying someone to frame them for me, ๐

Hi Everyone, I first bought this medal as a part of a group of items purchased from a dreaded Auction site in the UK It came with it's packet of issue, I'm not sure if this is good or bad, I await suggestions from other forum members to let me know, any information is greatly received in advance. I have recently bought a black light and I shone it on the ribbon, you can see the results.

Hi everyone just a quick update on my framed iron cross 2nd class I was informed on another forum that the sailor in the framed ek2 was wearing the wrong ribbon so I replaced the photo with a soldier wearing the correct ribbon, cheers Cameron

Hi one and all I'd just like to share what I've been up to recently, I decided to get some stuff framed, but it was too expensive, so I decided to have ago myself, so here is my attempt at framing my Iron Cross 2nd class with packet of issue. i found a nice picture of a kriegsmarine sailor wearing his so i printed it out to help fill in some space, i'm waiting for a small brass plate with all the details on to finish it off This was a veteran bring back and was an unissued award

Hi Everyone, I wasn't sure what category this sash fell under but here goes, Constructed from red rayon with a satin finish this funeral sash is unusually full length (they are often cut in half) with two separately applied white cotton discs and black printed swastikas. Printed in silver Gothic script is Bauleitung der Luftwaffe Schwerin (Luftwaffe construction unit at the Schwerin airfield). I presume this would have been used for a high ranking or important person. Silver bullion fringes in excellent condition. Full 8.5 feet in length!! (258cm x 20cm). Rare piece and of the highest standard. Colours are bright and vibrant. I hope this is genuine as I've just bought it. Cheers Cameron

Thanks Vince it is very beautiful to behold, I'll never need to try and upgrade this one, thanks for the comment, Hi Vince, I think the seller told me that it came from a veteran that was a guard at a POW camp somewhere in England and he probably swopped it for cigarettes or tins of food or something of that nature, cheers Cameron.
