Gents,
There is a new catalog: Serbia, Yugoslavia, Catalog Orders Medal 1858 - 1941 on ebay.com:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Serbia-Yugoslavia-Cata...id=p3286.c0.m14
It must be quite new one. Has anybody already this catalog, your opinion?
regards
w
I still didn't have a chance to see the catalog, but since I know Mr. Muhic, and the size of his collection, I would say that this catalog is a must have for everyone interested in Serbian/Yugoslavian militaria.

Any chance of a picture of a copy.
I don't have any photos of the copies with me right now...

Surprisingly, though they are far from common, they don't bring particularly high prices. You can pick one of these up at around the $300 mark, cheaper than most regular KM war badges.
The reason for that is that at least 80-90% of the Croatian Naval Legion badges on the market are fakes.

Thats quite a Marshals baton, why the ax shape, is there some significance to Croatian History?
As far as I know, there's no significance to Croatian history in the ax shape. As you can see from the scans of the ax,there are portraits on it of the Croatian political and military leaders from the past.

Bodomir & Ostin, both of your (metal) air legion badges are post-war reproductions.
Ostin's one is made in Spain by Croatian emigrees after the war, while the Bodomir one is made as a reproduction for the market.
Cloth air legion badge is original, very rare item.
