The 2nd one was listed as a copy, but from the little picture it could also be a "Deumer"....The first one-what do you expect? This one with the slide attachment is a kind of fashion!
Rare, but not so rare that I would pay this price! And don't forget(for all who are watching Ebay.de......There are 3 guys with really big money-axhedge(from Britain),Chinook(a Doctor from Hamburg) and Funkjoker(the winner)! All of them overpay all the time, some of them sometimes really didn't know what they've bought! So no chance for me(Im still looking for this variation)-but hey-I got my Werner screwback for less than the half....

Did one of these three bought that fancy cased enamel cross that sold for 3K+ USD about two months ago?

Your medal bar is a stunning example I can only dream of having something similar.

This Cross was at Ebay a few days ago. I was the runner up, believe me, I was so upset. I am still upset but it is OK it went to you, I appreciate your knowledge on EK1s. I hope my turn is coming along

Hello Naoki
I appreciate your words. I don?t know if a known maker could be associated with this one, but would really like to know.
Your engraved crosses are just great

Sorry I do not mean to hijack your topic, but guys please educate me. What is in the Cross 1 that makes you say this is a transitional Cross?

Such wonderful cases they surely make one want to collect them

I made several complaints to him and he offered to reduce the price from my winning bid
of over $300 Euros to about $150 Euros. BUT his shipping cost to the US from Germany
for a packet of pictures was $95 Euros.
This is revolting. To find yourself in a position to reach an agreement with someone ripping you off. There are many things out there to ruin the hobby, everyone needs to be careful

I am shocked and would think people bidding on it are not aware of this

I am confused. Is he selling just the pictures of it?

Are all double post screwback EK1s suppose to have a (cruciform) back plate, or some variants never had one?

Close on the guy to the right. He also was awarded a TWM

The guy on the left, his TWM, EK1, and I believe the German ribbon bar that came with the lot.

Last picture in the lot so far. I think Wilhems is on the viewers left side. There is a woman behind the trio
