Can you tell us more about the person ?

Copper brush, such as a rifle cleaning brush, or copper bush in an electric drill. I've used them with good result on rusted blades, having read that they did the job without damaging the steel. But as has been said, does the bayonet need the teatment?

It is in a condition as you can see it.

I do not have expirience with cleaning bayonets, so I am asking for opinion.

This 3rd class example has a low number 46. Does anyone have any information as to how many were issued? Thanks

Since September 1st 1944. untill December 31st 1985. there were assigned 3870 Orders of brotherhood and unity with golden wreath (1st class).

Since June 8th 1945. untill December 31st 1985. there were assigned 55.675 Orders of brotherhood and unity with silver wreath (2nd class).

Number 46 certenly is not a number of your order. Orders of brotherhood and unity with silver wreath with 6 torches were produced after 1963., after the changes in Constitution of Yugoslavia and changes in coat of arms of Yugoslavia.

Officers cap with embroided badge.

It is an officer cap (?apka) badge of the Yugoslav people's army (JNA), Air force and anti-aircraft defence units.

ask seller to send to you a more detailed pictures and pictures of the reverse.

From these pictures you can not be apsolutely shure that they are repros.
