    1. Nice cross,

but unfortunnaly not awarded during the Franch-Prussian war. the duration of War was 1 year, few time for industrial news same the painting process.

All the 1307 EKI, and also the EKII, awarded on 1 year war are burnished and core on die cast.

    2. During World War II Germany used the system of military districts (German: Wehrkreis) to relieve field commanders of as much administrative work as possible and to provide a regular flow of trained recruits and supplies to the Field Army.

Present a different font and is pre stamped the Wehrkreis and the signature is hand made from General der Infanterie Albrecht Schubert chief of this district between 21. August 1943 - Sommer 1944 and 2nd time 20. Juli 1944 - April 1945.

The General recived Ritterkreuz on 17. September 1941

    3. IMHO don't like the cross for 4 point.

      1) - the scarce sharp of details, see the crown.!!!

      2) - number 8 not correct form

      3) the crosses of 1870 are no painted

      4) Hinge, catch and pin not correct.

Maybe a 1870 awarded on early '900, but not awarded on 1870's, I remember until last of 1914 the IC of 1st and 2nd class was cast made and we found a cross with a cracked core. (same the cross swhowned).

I repeat it's only my though but for this price I go away !!

      Best regards

    4. Hi,

the 22 on 3 round cross is punched in a 2nd time.

The Praesidialkanzlei nummer was applied in the middle of the 1944 until at the war finish.

Is known a 3 round is a early cross production, after a Schinkel Form (1939 - first months of 1940), the needle type is similar to a 1914 Eisernes kreuz late production and a Godet early type on DKiG.

Impossible to find a 3 round first or second class with a marking mark, early production - marking mark 1944/1945.

      Is only a personal opinion.

      Thanks
