Now I know what other peoples e-mail boxes look like when I post a load of stuff at once.

Thats a nice looking badge Robert, whats it made of?
Rhein railway badge, would have done it.
Funnily enough I have just seen, what I assumed to be, a yachting pennant badge with the same trident, no swas. unfortunatly.,
I am as green as the badge.

Hi Troy, I only post badges that I own. Otherwise we could just fill it up with book illustrations.
New thread, Hmmm, difficult as quite a few pre 30's tinnies relate to the Third Reich, and other organisations either pro or anti Facism.
But why not, I think I have posted most of mine in the general tinnie database anyway.

Hi Troy,
Thanks for the info, but I have Tiestes 2 volumes, so no need to post his reference numbers. I am of the mind that they may change anyway when he produces his updated work. There are many more than he has listed so far. I must have 10-15 or so, not in his books.
If you do wish to refer back to earlier posts, please put in the post number. It makes it much easier to find the one you are refering to

The Braunau has a book value of 30 Euro. see here fof info. on Palm :- http://en.wikipedia....nn_Philipp_Palm
I can't find the other, I think it is for Gaisberg , Salsburg, its for a sport meeting.
The "swastika" on this one is actually the "Turnerkreuze", four "F"s, representing the motto "Frisch, Fromm, Fröhlich, Frei" (fresh, pious, cheerful, free). The "Turnerbund" has existed since 1913 and is stll going. value 15-20 Euro.

Hmm, I see what you mean Don, so many different shades, and the rather haphazard placement of the pin.

Yes, I have one the same, I always feel as if something should be on the banner above the eagle.
