It seems like this ribbon is a lot wider in it's original shape, the folding is clearly visible.
As for the identity, no idea.
cheers
Peter
You are right, Peter! The ribbon was folded in the red area. But it's still the gold-white-red ribbon!

It ALMOST looks like the Danzig Lebenrettungsmedaille-- but that should be YELLOW edged and not this strange brownish-mustard color.
Has the dye color altered? Are the edges the same underneath?
This could be everything!
The ribbon is from an uniform (SS) which was found in former Yugoslavia. This means that the ribbon could be from the NDH (Croatia), Romania, Hungary, Italy, and so on...

To cite (just one) quick example:

There must be others?
Okay, it seems that I have eyes like a mole...because I couldn't find anything!
The book looks really, really interesting! Are there any photos of uniforms inside the book?

Dear Stefan,
congratulations to that beautiful and rather rare YU-Medal .
I miss that item in my small collection of YU-Awards .
The USD 50,- for that medal - as Bryan noted - would be a real bargain nowadays: Igor http://www.collectrussia.com offers one, as far as I remember, for about USD 250,-.
Best regards
Christian
BTW: What's the meaning of "Befehl 227" ?
Servas Christian!
Danke f?r die Gl?ckw?nsche!
The medal is the most expensive one (Yugoslav medal) on this site - very funny! THAT price is definitely not realistic! The upper limit for the medal is (should be) 70? (without case)!
Befehl 227?! Look at your avatar...it was his "Befehl"!

I need help with this nice badge here. I believe it is a cap/hat badge from the late 60s or early 70s...but what is the meaning of C.R.R.? Gents, your opinions please!

Hi Stefan! Welcome to the forum! I would really like to have this medal in my collection. I heard that this medal was given to foreigner partisans who participated in the WWII in Yugoslavia.
Hello Bryan! The price of the medal is around 50? at the moment, but we both know that the value of Yugoslav orders & medals doubled in the past few years. And yes, as far as i know this medal was given to foreign partisans.

I don?t know much about this medal, so I would be very thankful if someone could tell me more about this nice "spomenica"!

MPZZ is the short form for: Moskau "Platinapribor" Fabrik
It is a factory located in Moscow. Due to the raising demand after Red Stars and OGPW?s a second factory started
to produce them.
MPZZ OGPW?s are a little bit rarer than OGPW?s from other mints.

R?tsel gel?st!
What do you think, when was my/the order issued? May/June 1945?

Unknown German ribbon

It could be a Croatian ribbon. But the golden color disconcerts me!
