Incorrect,they are both Australian citations. They are the Unit Citation for Gallantry which recognises extraordinary gallantry in action (green one), and the Meritorious Unit Citation which recognises sustained outstanding service in warlike operations (yellow one). Commonly refered to as the "Brick".

Well starting from left to right......
- On his right sleeve is his SAS wings demonstrating he is Para qualified within the SAS.
- Right Breast - 2 citations (unit or squadron citations) awarded by US i think?
- The silver rifle badge - AIRN (Army Individual Readiness Notice) - a set minimum standard to be met by all soldier in the Army.
- Medals (L-R)
- Medal of Gallantry (At 30 June 2006, there have been 26 medals awarded)
- AASM (Australia Active Service Medal) - Clasps would include Iraq, Afghanistan, East Timor and one other
- INTERFET (International Forces East Timor) - Sep99 - Mar 00 in East Timor
- Afghanistan Medal - serving in Afghanistan
- Iraq Medal - serving in Iraq
- ASM - Australian Service Medal (served overseas but not in combat) - clasps could include East Timor, Bouganville, Solomons, Special Ops, Kuwait, Sinai
- Defence Long Service Medal - 15 years service
- ADM (Australian Defence Medal) - 4 years service
- Above medals is his ICB (Infantry Combat Badge) - demonstrating his involvement in actual combat.

What a remarkable find!! My research project had hit a dead end until I saw this post only minutes ago. Now the big questions. Are you going to do a CD and if so...when will it be ready? This is fantastic news and I look forward to your reply.
