Meyer, now I undertand what do you mind. The cut of the shirt is the same in the front than in the back, but usualy looks like the front is shorter than the back, but has to be the same.

All blue shirts are basically with the same stile, and only differed in the collar close system.
On the soulders you can find a back flap of the same cloth, like the blue flap in the white shirts. Is this what you mind?.

Meyer, this is waiting to complete a junior NCO landding uniform. As you say, not very easy to find as the white one.

Thanks your kind words, I have tryed to complete all different models of KM uniforms, with a lot of patience and looking a lot for each item, and I'm so glad that you like them as much as I do.
I absolutly agree with you Andre, KM uniforms, not only the blue ones but also the the green ones, are some of the nicest of the TR.

Jasper thanks for your kind words.
The collani is for a marinehelfer, with the cuffband and the HJ emblems. The peajecket is for a seeman officer, and the aguilette is for an Admiral adjudant. This is not very usual in this high graduation, but it came with the tunic and loooks original for it.

You are right Rick, is not easy to find CA items, but I really hope that there are more people here with CA stuff and not only me. If I have be able to find these from SPAIN!! , the people in the belligerent and occupied countries can do easier.
I will try to mantein this and show you some more items.

I have seen, in this and in other forums, that pleople like to see the items and collections of the other people, but most of them don't like to contribute to the post whith their own collection. I can not belive that there is nobody around that have some Coastal Artillery uniform, caps, equipment, ... to show to the rest of us, so we can learn more about this hard hobby.
Anyway I will try to mantein this one.
Best regards to all.

Rick, thanks for your explanations. If I have understood you well, the date of the promotion to Kapit?nleutnant is only the date of the comunicati?n, but it was retroactive to a prior date.

Hello Rick, I have a doubt about this, why the Marineofficerkleiderkasse tag is dated in 1934/8 as a Oberlt.z.See, if this man had the rank of kapit?nleutnant since 1933/7. This is not the tipical upgrading tunic with a tag of a lower rank.
Regards.

I would like to know if this model of SK with "900 + coat of arms" was made in the gold version.

Thanks for the reply Gordon. I guess my dream of finding Gunther Prien's "backup" cap is alive and well.
About 10 years ago Malcom Fisher (Regimentals) sold a blue cap with the medals (including the u-boat badge with diamonds) and some other things from Gunther Prien to a South African collector, so at least one of them is alive and well.

Richard, side cap look ok for me, but I never have seen that emblem, and embroidering embles like this are not usual, do you know of what unit is it?.

Gordon, the badge is not in silver is in broze, but the finish shines a lot in the pictures, because it looks like it was polished.
The wide is 76,5 mm, and 24,5 mm high, the thickness is around 3mm, and the weight is 19,1gr.

Detail of the front.

Any other coment about this?, with pictures what do you think, could be the second one a zinc model?, or the finish is not the usual for this badge.

Gordon, I'm not really sure, but there are some differendes between them. The finish of the second one is very smooth and it shines much, on the back side also without the typical bubbles of oxide of zink under the painting. The first one has the tipical mate finish and the bubbles. The the weight and the measures are correct, so perhaps is zinc but the finish is not the same than in the other one.

Colin, here you have a picture of a complete one. Unfortunately not mine. Is for use with the big cannons of the navy, on ships and coastals.
