    1. Ok Paul R, the pistol, as you may know, belongs to a batch of .45 M1914 that the Norwegians were ordered to manufacture for the Grman occupying forces, in this case my gun was dispatched to the AOK (Armee Oberkommando)-Only on the last 960 pistols the Waffenamt seal was stamped-The pistol was manufactured in Norway since 1914, date in which the signed the license contract with Colt-The last picture shows below the pistol the steel cartridge 22 lr carriers that the Kongsberg 22lr Conversion uses, this is an extremely rare conversion that I got in Switzerland many years ago-The odd thing of the conversion is that the only thing you have to change to shoot the smaller caliber is the barrel. you insert the rounds in the carriers and the pistol shooots them as fast as you can, cycling each round impeccably-

    2. Ulsterman, let me begin by saying that not only I'm new in this site but also that I am not into medals, decorations ,etc. What I posted before comes out of my knowledge of history and because my company years ago dealt with the military. My presence in this site is because I found it recently and immediately liked it-I posted a question about a couple of tinnies that I have and my purpose was to be a silent member , because I repeat, my line is not medals or decorations;I am a gun collector specialized in Military Trainers in 22 lr

For the abovementioned reasons unfortunately I can not answer your questions-Some weekends at the shooting range we meet with retired guys who belonged to the military, I'll pass you question to them-

    3. No medals are worn by any of the military in argentina, our founding fathers stated that no medals were to be awarded between the argentine armed forces, only those given by a foreign country, there are a few cloth or enamel ribbons, but a few, and never as I've seen the other day that General Commander of the US forces in Irak, he has a 5x6inch board in his chest that shows he is a living heroe,no doubt about it, but looks a little bit exageated.

    4. Hi, I'm new in this very interesting site, I'm a gun collector from Argentina ,specialized in Military Training Rifles in 22 lr, but going thru the various topics found a long one about tinnies and remembered I have ,IMO, a couple of interesting pieces that I'd like to share with you, they are two tinnies from the Nazi Party in Argentina, one about the Arbeit Tag and other the Kreistag held in the city of Oliva, Province of Cordoba, Argentina-I'll ask my son for help and will post the pics-
