    1. Uwe, you are right, I have just had a good look at the tab through a spy glass, and the I is an L, in the publication that I have it says Baimberger and not Balmberger, thanks for that Info
    2. Hi all, I should have bought this buckle ages ago but luckily it was sat quietly in Bill Sheas for sale bits for ages and now I have it. It is only the second buckle by this maker that I have seen, hence I should have bought it when I first saw it. Anyway, nice Heer buckle by the maker Carl Balmberger from Nurnberg, he was not on the M4 makers list but I believe had a M1 contract, an M9 and maybe another. Another nice rare maker goes into the collection
    3. Hi guys, this is my new addition to the Heer collective. A nice alu buckle by Louis Keller Oberstein, up until now a maker missing from the collection. It came with a P C Turck but the tab is not original to the buckle so that is going back, such is life the search continues
    4. Hi guys, could not resist this one, I have a couple of these but this is a nice buckle. The detailing is still very sharp and it still has alot of paint on the front of the buckle, also the leather tab stamping is nice and clear, just how I like them
    5. That is the Nash book, there is also the Angolia
    6. If you need any info on any of these makers ie makers marks etc have a look at this site that I Moderate, it is quite useful http://warrelics.eu/forum/german-third-rei...-m4-makers.html

    9. Rob, I am well jealous mate that is one nice buckle, if you ever let it go you know who to ask Quite an rarity also in that by 1940 steel buckles were introduced and you do not see many Alu buckles made after 1939, so probably one of some of the last Alu buckles to be made, very good find mate
    10. Hey guys, the name of this maker is in fact Gustav Hermann Osang and not Heinrich, the person that told me his middle name got it wrong, thats why I love these forums, you never stop learning
    11. Hi Joe, I dont think it is in any books
    12. Hi all, yet another addition to the Heer collective. Not a brilliant buckle but again important for me. Aluminium buckle by Osang, but the buckle itself is maker marked. You see quite a few Osang buckles for sale, especially steel ones but these maker marked alu ones are not so often seen, now another like this but with a tab would be really nice have a good weekend all you
    13. First time I have ever seen a catch like this Rob, I dont think they have one in the Angolia or Nash book do they?
    14. Hey just thought, I used to own a HJ buckle marked RZM 36 but sold it to Chad Williams for his HJ collection (along with quite a few others)
    15. Rob, Weitzes has two for sale, not sure of the price
