Hi David:
Nice cross's those 55's mostly all have flaws on the beading from what I've seen. On the 65 out to lunch on the maker mark. I'm not familer with this font. Need more opinions from others.

[attachmentid=59986]Hi Steve:
Nice collection as the others say be careful these Ek2's are very addictive. You've seen mine and it grows daily, when you know where the Iron Cross's Grow "Steiner"

Maker Mark
Hi Guys
Very nice cross, the first I've seen with L/54 mark. An intresting piece having the hump frame for the ribbon ring. Does anyone have info on this manufacturer. Did they only produce EK 2's for the afermarket?
Any info greatly appreciated

I would say the cross is a W&L just because it looks exactly the same as a 100 marked cross, the thing with Juncker EKII's is that I have never seen one marked that I am 100% sure on.
If it were mine I would probably label it a W&L.
Just my tuppence worth.
Dave
Hi Dave I think the key to solving this riddle lies solely in the beading corners directly facing the swaz. Look at the unique cross hatching design totally different than the MM 100. I have seen 4 others with this design all marked L/12 with different mounts. You decide.

Hi David
The answer is yes, This the only maker that I have seen where the ring actually goes through the top of the frame. See new pics of the 3 Deschlers I have. Hope you like and coments are appreciated.

Hello
Looks like a nice EK from the photos.
Does the ring really go through a hole on the top arm, as it appears from the pictures and is this a common feature of Deschler EK2s?

Hello
I have just received this EK2 which is maker marked '52', for Gottlieb & Wagner, Idar-Oberstein. However, I can't find any other '52' EK2s to compare it against. Does anyone have one of these, or can anyone say if this one is ok or not? The cross is of three piece construction and has a magnetic core.
Any help or comments will be really appreciated.
While I'm posting, I have been going through some stuff I have had for a bit, and I'm happy with everything except with this EK2, pictures of which I'm posting after the shots of the '52' marked piece. I know what I think it is, (Floch), but do others agree? Please advise.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi Mark
In viewing yours I think Its a Steinhauer #4. Although the date and swaz's look close the marking method doesn't I've posted pics of my 3 # 65 marks for your view. Hope this helps.
