The 15 (UK) Psychological Operations Group is a tri-service group. It is a Territorial Army unit 'managed' by 1 Intelligence Brigade.
Here is my collection of official ( and unnofficial) items for this interesting and relatively new unit.

Good Day Guys. Seemingly my increased knowledge when it comes to new items of POLITICAL OFFICER Training / POLITICAL ACADEMY awards etc, has made me aware of newer items on the market. I am enjoying the continued hunt for such items following much help from this forum. I am greatfull. I now know what to look for (seemingly), but I need your help on these 2 items listed.
Dealers are eager to indicate these 2 items as being of POLITICAL Training value......are they correct? They do not fit the information I have at hand. So I am seeking confirmation and a correct designation. Can you help?
Gratefully yours - DREW

Bulgarian Political badges: I see from various posts and from ebay that numerous versions of the Bulgarian excellent Political work badges exist! Has anyone difinitive information on these variants? I suspect the variants span numerous years and reflect the later trend in making badges in the cheap lightweight materials! I attach a picture too of a badge that does not fit the normal variant listing and has been designated as political training......is that so? Can anyone help in this regard?
Take care - all the best, Drew

Hello Drew!
There are a few Political Academy badges in the book. The letters VPU
(Vojenskopoliticke uciliste) and VPA (Vojenska politicka akademie) is what
you would look for on the badge itself.
Greetings/GRA
Thanks GRA..... Do you have this book?

There were four variants of the military political academy badge.
Drewchaneyau's badge is for high military political academy of air force (blue background). It was issiued from 1974 till 1991. Badges from that period were made in gold coloured metal. From that period there were also badge for high military political academy of navy (dark blue background) and for high military political academy of army (red background).
Beside these badges there was also a badge for military political academy, which was issued in period from 1970 till 1974. It was same as badge for high military political academy of army, what means it had red background. But it was made from silver coloured metal.
Regards, Sebastijan

Good Day All. A quick question / query based on my interest area: Has anybody built a loudspeaker platform out of a military model? I'd love to see the final product. Does anyone know of such platforms having been sold as such?
Kind regards, Drew
