Great LW buckles. My drop tail is also a parade type buckle. I once had a one piece drop tail (combat buckle) but sold it. It was VERY worn compared to the parade type. These parade buckles are usually always in great shape (they didnt' get much use!).

LW buckles are also known for all the variations in the eagle. I have about 6 or 7 LW buckles from different makers and they all display some slight changes in the way the eagle is represented!

Cool! I have a couple small NSDAP youth buckles like that too! I like the differences in the eagle! Again, any chance at getting pics of the back of the buckles. HJ buckles are known for their markings....some have A LOT of markings. There are some without any!

Hey gang....Well, 160 years old and still in pretty good shape! I just love this buckle. Showed up today and I'm pumped!

It's my second 1847 but my first 50mm Wurt.

Thought I'd share some pics!

Hey Paul....I don't know too much about this org. but I'll tell you what I know. It was formed in 1939 (by special decree on January 19) and used the open claw buckle until 1943, when this buckle was introduced. There were not many buckles like this one that were produced. It was composed of men from many different units such as the NSKK, the NSFK and the General Purpose Home guard. As the war went on, some of these men were even used in border patrols in the occupied territories helping auxilliary police. I've gotten this information from one of my Belt buckle reference books: the one produced by Angolia, so credit for this info certainly goes to him!

That's about all I know....if anyone else has any information, I (and Paul too I assume) would love to hear more about this as an organization!

Hey gang! Here's one that you just don't see come up often....I am quite happy to have added this to my collection! It's a nice SA Wehrmanschaft buckle (SA Internal Defense)....These buckles were only introduced in 1943, and there weren't too many produced.

Of note, Christian T. Dicke was the only manufacturer of this buckle (M4/22).

A welcome addition to the collection.... thought I'd share some pics!
