This one showed up today - quite happy as it's my first RODO buckle....(now I just have to land a RODO SS! ) and it's in very good condition.
Came with a late war belt that is also RBNr'd...but it's hard to see....Here are a few pics to share!
Cheers!

Hey dudes....thought I'd share a recent pick-up: a well worn Bavarian 50mm buckle.
I had been after this one for some time so I'm happy to add this one to the collection - even given it's condition.
Here are some pics guys!

I'm still looking Ben....I was sure it was on WAF but it might have been another forum. I say that because I wouldn't have ever clued in that it would have been from that maker. I think the 40mm is from Overhoff..at least the prongs make it look that way.
If I get any more info - like the link where I got this manufacturer from - I'll post it!
Cheers!

If I recall correctly - it was on WAF...I had no idea who the maker was and that maker seemed to get the nod.
I will try to find the thread...
Cheers!

Can't find a pic of the back of that one! (????) Here's a shot of the two buckles together. You can see how the Gr??e buckle is reg. size and the other is just a wee bit smaller.

Next one is a pretty rare bird indeed....it's the 40mm type. Hartmann made perhaps? Not sure - unmarked.

Thought I'd share my two right facing birdies.....first up is one made by Gr??e aus Essen - you can tell be the "squished" head!

Cool buckle! Not often seen - let alone with the two solder points instead of the four pins. Great score! Looking forward to seeing the other goodies you have coming your way!
Cheers!

Those two buckles certainly look alike! The eagle's head and the "G" you've pictured pretty much have me convinced they are from the same maker! Good on you buddy - another mystery taken care of!!
Cheers!
