Hit a couple of antique shops last weekend. Nothing major but figured it was in my "budget" :-)

American made training video.
Produced in WW2 by the U.S. Army to give soldiers an idea of common German tactics.

I found it interesting that the soldiers did not reload after shooting before they got up and advanced

REF #2:
Mervyn, my sincere apologies on the mis-posting. Per you comments I have reposted in the Commonwealth Realms: Canada, New Zealand & Australia Medals & Militaria. I presume that is the section you meant when you referred to "World Policing section". If I am wrong again, please advise and I'll try to get it right on the 3rd try
If you want to remove it from this section, please fell free to do so.

I have at least three backpacks that I believe are from WW II. I have pics of the packs and buttons. Any help in verifying timeframes would be appreciated.

Pulled some things out of an old footlocker. A .45 caliber pistol holster. It is stamped "SEARS 1942" on the back. Any info would be appreciated. It was painted black on the front.

Paul,
Most of Dad's are in the bottom two right hand pictures, lower rows and the CIB, 2nd award.
Thanks for asking.

Can you share a picture of the helmet? That might generate a clue or two?

This may help you out. It does refer to the use of elephant guns in WW I and talks about calibers.
Good luck
