    1. Thanks for the link. It certainly isn't an official badge, but perhaps made for a veteran during the interwar period. Should someone recognize it as a known fake, however, I'd certainly like to know.
    2. Gentlemen: Knowing that copies abound of the Austrian U-Boat Badge, I'd like opinions about the authenticity of this piece. The edges inside the letters don't appear to be completely straight. Is it a known copy? Or perhaps made by a jeweler? Thanks.
    3. Can anyone determine from these two photos if this 1916 Medal is an original 1941 strike, a later official strike, or a copy? Unfortunately, no other photos are available. Thanks for looking.
    4. This information is very helpful. Thanks very much.
    5. If someone has Everson's South Africa 1853 Medal, could look for "T. Johnson, 45th Regiment". Thanks.
    6. Thanks very much for the identification.
    7. Can anyone identify this badge, on a khaki sun helmet, made in London. Thanks.
    8. Unsure of the origin of this cap, so will post here, to solicit opinions on its origin and vintage. Looks to be 19th or early 20th Century. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks.
    9. Odulf, thank you very much for the identification.
