Deschler actually used at least 3 different vores, so these 2 might be different.
1 core variation has a very flat swas, the other one is higher.
They also made round 3 ek's.

Gents,
I'm trying to find out more about a Spange in a friend's collection : the dimensions given indicate it is a EK2 Spange, the reverse maker's mark is L/11 (Deumer) - However, I can see no traces of prongs or whatever other means of attachment. Would appreciate your views ...
Cheers,
Hendrik
Better save this one in your fake files, it's a Floch!!

My stomach feeling is i think, this EK is good.
All the best

It is a good cross, i would have picked it up as well if the price was right.

So is this original to the cross? I hope it's not a replacement someone added. It never looked like it was.
I really don't know Steve, but I shouldn't worry to much about it.
Might be a mix-up at the factory.
Best regards,
Ben

The stamp is ok, I have one of each as well.
So with the L/10 stamp, the come in 2 sizes as well.
Something about Steve's Deschler struck me as odd, but I couldn't put my finger on it.
Now, with a little help from a good German collecting-buddy I know what it is: the pin is different, it's the type of pin that was used on Deschler KVK's.
Best regards,
Ben

Really a hard case-my own oppinion-I don't like it because of the size and shape of the swaz, but this is more a feeling from my stomach than a propper observation!

It's an odd one, but it is original.
Maker is Wiedmann
Best regards,
