Hi Stephan,
Rositten. Cornet v. Hahn
But I think, that it is Rositten in East Prussia
Uwe
Many thanks for answers.
Rositten was part of East Prussia before the Latvian war of independence. This Photo was taken at beginning 1920' during this war.
Can you explain me the word "Cornet" ? (first name, rank ?)
Stephan

Hi,
in several photos you said that Lt Thieme-Harmann, the real name is Leutnant Erich Thieme-Gamann from IR 102. He received both iron crosses and knight cross 2nd class with X of Albert Order
Christophe
Yes, I was wrong about the name. But I think he is Thieme-Garmann (with "R") as we can see here :
Very interesting photos indeed..!
I especially liked these with aviation connection, like nr 41. I have problem reading the name of the pilot. Could it be Vfw Mohrenschultz or similar..?
I do think that the observer is Lt Binkau. I do not have his first name but he was living in Leipzig after the War, so maybe he have a Saxon connection..
Gunnar
You're right, the observer is Leutnant Binkau. The pilot, I'm not sure but I think Mahrenholtz :
Thanks for comments
Stephan
