Hello! Can you show interior view, stamps of your armor officers' pilotkas?

Hello,
found this jacket "for a good price "on the worlds favourite auction side.
I think, it is a 1951/1953 MGB jacket for a LtColonel. I think most likely the guy was in the legal/justice department/brach of the MGB. See the shoulder boards. (shield with two swords) The shoulder boards are sewed inside the jacket with a white pack twine.
The collar and cuffs are made out of gold plated metal on blue cloth.
1946 – 1954 MGB (Ministerstwo Gossudarstwennoi Besopasnosti)
1954 - 1991 KGB (Komitet Gossudarstwennoi Besopasnosti)
Two front buttons are marked with 1951 and the rest with 1953. There is no stamp/marker inside the jacket. One button inside the jacket is marked with:
Moscow Moscwa Tamp
Which visor cap/hat would fit to this jacket. Has anybody a picture?
Is this a victory parade jacket or a service uniform?
Any comments/oppinions are appreciated.
best regards
Andreas
I'm sorry but this tunic is a phantasy! Fake!

Is there a current demand for such tinnies?
No. They are unofficial pins.

Nice boards!
But if you want to represent early type of boards (pre-1955) you should to find big emblems. Look here for understanding what I mean. Brother from Border Guards. :D

Such type of patches was begun to use since 1969 for the parade uniform of EM, NCO, extended servicemen and warrant officers ("praporshiks"). Such type of patches was officially used untill end of USSR in 1991.?
If it's interesting, I can show you all variants of patches used by Army ans some patches used by KGB, MVD and border guards.

I just received these Naval shoulderboards. I need to know the era and type of boards for some. First up, a narrow board for shirts.

Shoulder boards with regular width - for this coat.

No-- from about 1947/48 they were 6 sided-- but by the end of the 1950s, all boards were the same "normal officer" width and no longer thin ones for medical and administrative. So you need to find regular width and 6 sided.
Narrow boards were canceled in 1958. But officers continue to wear it for 1958-59 years. I think that owner of this coat is able to use narrow type of boards as like as type with regular width.
Post-WW2 shoulder boards of major of medical service pre-1958 from my collection.

Hi Doc!
Sorry for mistake. Your greatcoat has a loop at the shoulders and a hole where the button would be sewn/attached for slip-on boards. So, you need 6-sided slip-on boards...

Hi!
As this coat has light grey colour - it's parade greatcoat.
As it has buttons with "1958" stamp - this greatcoat is post 1958.
So, you can use 2 types of shoulder boards:
1) If you want to make greatcoat 1958-62 you must use wide silver shoulder boards with red piping (4-sided)
1) If you want to make greatcoat post 1962 you must use wide light grey shoulder boards with red piping (4-sided)
Hope this will help you.
I can try to help you with finding of this boards if you tell me what type of greatcoat you prefer to make: 1958-62 or post 1962.
