    1. The I.Class was a "pin-back" decoration, II.Class - a neck ribbon and III.Class on a trifold ribbon on chest. Until 1914 (23.10.) there was only one Class - the later III.Class. The I. and II. Class were also awarded only in war time - also with War Decoration (wreath) and from 13.12.1916 it was posssible to add the swords. From what you have written I think its the MVK.3. There were some sold on an internet auction site for cca 120€, but in nice condition without ennamel breaks and with ribbon of course...

    2. ...like pinpon already wrote, Gold merit cross with crown, made by V.Mayer´s Söhne, Vienna in gild bronze during WWI (befor the war was the cross made - like it is in the name of it - from gold. The ribbon is so called "war ribbon" (introduced for merit crosses on 20.9.1914) with swords (introduced on 13.12.1916)...

    3. ..like hunyadi wrote, surely its not a german wound badge, but "qualification badge" of KuK army - I would say "Richtauszeichnung für die Artillerie" (Marksmanship Badge for first gunners). And also his sabre "talks" for artillery - it looks like "Säbel fuer österreichische berittene Artillerie Modell 1877"...

    4. Haynau: ..no, the cross was bought here in Slovakia, the case + the decree (few threads befor this) came from Croatia... But as I wrote, the case is made for classic cross, not this one with small crown... but I have bought the cross in Mayers case dated 1907, so I am waiting for an old case (with FJ/V initials on the lid) to buy...

    5. ..hello.. the case is in superb condition, but its not for this "old type" cross, but for one with "normal" crown... i have bought it together with a decree for GVK mdK.. here are some photos... unfortunatly no inscription or makers logo...
