..the informations about types comes from the book Měřička Václav: Černohorská vyznamenání (Montenegrian decorations)... The type on the photo (from my collection) should be 2.edition from year 1908...

Hi... these are czechoslovak soldiers, cca 1919-1920. Cap badges are with letters RČS which means "Republika ČeskoSlovenská - Czechoslovak Republic (letter R on the top, Č and S under and on sides) used cca 1918-1920, caps are in new form (inspired by French uniforms) used after 1919 and with badges of rank on the sleeve. the number on the collars are numbers of regiments....

Thanks for your opinions, I am afraid that the only possibilty to find out if its really this one, is to try to fit in a real decoration.... what is in this case unpossible but.. i am not sure, think Order of St. Peter is 43mm sized, so a bit too big for this case... (54x38mm)

...no ideas which order this case belong to? here one more photo to see the shape of the award...

..maybe from the picture it will be possible to identify them

I would also say OK, but would be better, if you could add also pictures of reverse side of ribbons (where hook and ring are)...

...if there was Bronze "Signum Laudis" on red ribbon instead of the Honour medal for 40 years faithful service, it would be OK to me But why is there no Karl-Truppen-Kreuz or some WWI Commemorative medal??

...so we have here:
Bronze Military Merit Medal with swords ("Signum Laudis" on "war" ribbon could be awarded befor WWI, but swords after 13.12.1916)
Honour medal for 40 years faithful service ("XXXX annorum" on civil (!) ribbon which was awarded in 1898-1918 after serving 40 years on one place - so to relatively old men)
Bronze Military Jubilee Commemorative Medal 1898
Military Jubilee Cross 1908
Merit Medal of Carinthian regional Comradeship Association (I am not sure, if this medal is awarded only post WWII)
...I dont like it But thats my personal opinion....

Trooper_D: can you post a photo of that group? Medal was issued for all those who had comleted 40 years of service on one position in public or civil duty except of active officers...

..and if someone would like to have them, no problem, i am not collecting Romania, we can make trade :)
