Back in Yerevan - long trip

Been MIA this week due to poor internet service. Hopefully, will be back to normal for the weekend.

Just when I thought I was "finished" with my Soviet wants, I see another medal bar. Good thing I'm leaving here soon.

Curious; I now have the same number of German and Soviet decorations, but I've paid twice the cash for the German pieces.

Nothing like some ragtop music to take off the December chill.

10 day until I go home!

Two canceled flights from Prague to Frankfurt. Two re-bookings. 14 hours traveling so far and counting. Still in Prague, hoping to get to Madrid tonight; New York tomorrow.

At least the beer is better here in Prague than in Yerevan.

Newest arrivals in today's mail: Jager's German Artillery of WWI and Robinson/Robinson's Handbook of Imperial Germany. Yea, I know, should have owned these books long ago.

Back to work today; unfortunately at HQ instead of the field. But it all counts for retirment!
