If it has to be one of those, then you're down to two. The awards do not match with Graf, and if he doesn't look like Goerisch, it has to be either Schrader or Dippel.
Hello all!
I can confirm that he is NOT Heinrich Dippel.
Best,
Ivan

Fantastic photos, Richard!
I must admit this is the first time I see a period photo of H. Friess.
Do you know who is the conductor in Flakregiment 7 photo?
Cheers!
Ivan

Hello all
Can anyone recognize this conductor? Photo was taken between 1936 and 1938 in Wilhelmshaven,
after the return of light cruiser Leipzig from the Spanish civil war.
Can this man be Obermusikmeister Wilhelm Welge?
(I know only that he conducted the band in 1934)
Thanks in advance,
Ivan

I do not recognize that conductor. Do you have a name for him? Welcome to the GMIC, HMVSCF!
Thanks for the warm welcome, Paul
Unfortunately, I don't have his name, I am searching for it (that's why I posted the photo).
This is the other photo I mentioned, showing Paul Haase:
It was published (in the same low quality) in the Tempo-Schallplatten-Katalog,
from 1940 I believe (now in the Dave C. Collection).
Cheers,
Ivan

Hello, everyone, a fine topic!
Can anyone recognize this conductor?
Photo was published in "Handbuch f?r die Singleiter der Wehrmacht"
(Verlag Merseburger & Co., Leipzig) and the only caption written was
"Ein Musikkorps der Luftwaffe". Photo reminds me of a very similar one
showing the band of Regiment "General G?ring" with Stabsmusikmeister
Paul Haase, also taken in front of some barracks...
(photo was posted in my forum by member 'nothingspecial')

The first one that I got a portrait of, was Georg F?rst
Hello, Robert (and everyone else)
Amazing portrait of F?rst! Thank you for sharing.
I must add that this is my first post - and also that this topic actually brought me to this fine club
(while I was searching for an online photo of the composer, which is more or less impossible to find).
Sincerely,
Ivan ?.

Hello, everyone
Does anybody recognize this Schellenbaum?
The only caption is "Berlin. Wache vor dem Ehrenmal";
I was guessing this could be F. Ahlers' band, but I've never seen them using such Schellenbaum... (?)
Thanks in advance,
Ivan
