I've got two questions for you.

First: Is this case pre-45? (thinking that the GERMANY marking with D.R.G.M seems like a strange combination, don't know what the ROFRI might stand for)

Second if there still is hope: Is the inlay original to the case?

Pretty high quality to the piece, made of some kind of bakelite. It came with a nice FR marked piece.

What is the consensus of this beautiful piece?
