Last series, those Mongolian Orders of Mother Heroine.
Mother Heroine 1st Class, screwback, T1V1 (apparently A 33.1)
According to Jan it seems there are different types of blue on the central medallion.
I call this one LB (Light Blue)

The puzzle of numbers, dates, types and how they intermingle. The overlapping of numbers between types seems (to me and to others on this forum) to be extensive. Did they start over with each new type?
As we have discussed on other threads, the Polar Star seems especially complex and elusive. Maybe you know better. Please say you do.
Ed,
Oh! I'm sorry but I don't think I can help with those "minor" (or too deep, depending on the point of view, of course) details
I guess I'll have to read all those threads you mention

Sorry for the clumsy "Superman" reference, which may not export. But anyone who can disentangle the puzzle of the Polar Star will be truly a Super Man (Person).
Ed,
What "puzzle of the Polar Star" you mean? Is there a puzzle to disentangle?
As far as I know these I posted are all the know Types and variations of the OPS I know! Apart for the T1 (1939 Type) which I don't have, and a variation (?) of the T5 brass without a S/N, which I also don't have.

Same, reverse, S/N 39785. (This is the recent brass type, for sure not as nice as the previous types)

And finally, a OPS T5.

Same, reverse, S/N 16435. (This is obviously a pinback type, with the coat of arms of the 1960 type)

... And then you can leap tall buildings at a single bound?
Not sure what you mean by that...
Anyway, here are the individual pics of those OPS, front and back, from left to right on my Display.

Jan
Jan,
Like this one I'm posting, right?
All mine are also of this type.
Cheers,

I was talking about the Croix the guerre 1939 that was, apart from being produced in france, also made in some north african countries, the UK and in Italy. Precise info for the exact production locations for this or that variation is still an issue for debate.
I'll post some pix in another thread later, to show what I meant.
Jan
Jan,
Thanks a lot for the prompt reply and clarification

Interesting, my 2nd class has a Moscow artists coop one (see above), but I guess any of these could be replacements?
Ed,
I have one of these screwplates, but for one of my Khalkhin Gol Badges, the flat reverse Type. The mirror reverse Type of my Kalkhin Gol Badge has a different screwplate.
As all my Udarnik Badges (the entirely goldplated, the partially goldplated, the silver grade and the bronze grade) have the same kind of screwplate (as the one shown on the reference book mentioned above, as on my pic above) I believe mine are the right ones for this Udarnik Badge!
Replacement screwnuts are very, but really very usual on Mongolian awards, as we know
Just my two cents,
Dolf
