Paul,
Unusual. You might want to blacklight it and also examine uynder the backing material just to see what it looks like. Coulc be for a guy just trying to save some money or resources!
Nice imperial bar also.

Hi,
I was asked to post these pictures by some fellow collectors in one of the other sections.
The below pictures were taken by my father in May 44 outside of the Anzio beachhead. He was the gunner/photographer (A-20s in 12th AF) on a low level mission assigned to knock out the lead vehicles on a large german unit that was moving during daylight hours to block the US breakout at Anzio. The unit was later identified as the HG regiment. Dates that my father took the pictures correspond to dates that the HG unit was destroyed pulling in to the Anzio beachhead. The pictures were published widely in aviation magazines of the time.

Hi Garth,
David and I stopped by your table a few times to see you but you were wondering the show. I had hoped to meet you. Perhaps next show.
Yes these were SOS purchases. I was quite happy to find them as I had never seen any before. You had some nice shoulder boards at your table.

Thanks Rick, You are a fountain of knowledge! My example has some white spots on it so I assume it is a zinc example.

Dear Bill,
Sorry for my delayed response, I was at the SOS. Thanks for giving me an estimate. I have 2 L16/4 makred EKs and will probably part with 1. I was also able to purchase a L16 marked one at the SOS.
Thanks again.

I think it depends on condition, and whether or not it is cased. Uncased, and in good condition, I would expect to pay $375+. If you add a case, expect to pay $100+ more, at least in my opinion. . .

Hi,
Not being an Imperial collector, I am not familiar with the Bvn Award award (3rd to last - I assume it is a LS award but for how many years? Civ or military?). Can someone ID it for me?
Thanks in advance.

Paul,
I believe it was a nother fighter/para waffenfarbe.
Gary B
Thanks for the photo Gary!! It is great to be back... that is for sure!
I have never before seen a "Greek" example. Definately an interesting piece! What was the waffenfarbe on the other set you saw?

How rare are the double marked S&L EK1s? Marked L/16 and 4 on the pin and what would be a fair price?
Thanks.

I will try to post a picture of the reverse of the Greek tabs. They were one of the last tabs in the George Peterson collection. Thats about all I know about them.
I believe I have seen one other set like these.
Welcome back, Paul.

Very nice Gary!!!
I like the variation of the two signals tabs on top. The darker brown set appear to be the earier signals waffenfarbe(light brown).
The Greek made tabs are very interesting! Can we please have a pic of the reverse? What is the story with these?

I have 3 medal bars with Romanian awards on them. Typically I have seen the Order of the crown, Order of the star and recently saw a Cross of Queen Marie (sold by Kai Winkler and owned by one of the members on the site).
Hope this helps.
