    1. Hi,

I was asked to post these pictures by some fellow collectors in one of the other sections.

The below pictures were taken by my father in May 44 outside of the Anzio beachhead. He was the gunner/photographer (A-20s in 12th AF) on a low level mission assigned to knock out the lead vehicles on a large german unit that was moving during daylight hours to block the US breakout at Anzio. The unit was later identified as the HG regiment. Dates that my father took the pictures correspond to dates that the HG unit was destroyed pulling in to the Anzio beachhead. The pictures were published widely in aviation magazines of the time.

    2. Dear Bill,

Sorry for my delayed response, I was at the SOS. Thanks for giving me an estimate. I have 2 L16/4 makred EKs and will probably part with 1. I was also able to purchase a L16 marked one at the SOS.

      Thanks again.

I think it depends on condition, and whether or not it is cased. Uncased, and in good condition, I would expect to pay $375+. If you add a case, expect to pay $100+ more, at least in my opinion. . .

    3. I will try to post a picture of the reverse of the Greek tabs. They were one of the last tabs in the George Peterson collection. Thats about all I know about them.

I believe I have seen one other set like these.

      Welcome back, Paul.

      Very nice Gary!!!

I like the variation of the two signals tabs on top. The darker brown set appear to be the earier signals waffenfarbe(light brown).

The Greek made tabs are very interesting! Can we please have a pic of the reverse? What is the story with these?
