Hello, I am also researching the Schleswig-Holsteinische Dragoner-Regiment Nr. 13. My Grandfather (Lt. Mueller) was part of this regiment and has left behind an amazing photo album of his time in Russia and France during the WWI. I have a reference to the book mentioned previously, but do not know how to obtain a copy. Any suggestions? Can you direct me to any other reference material that will help me understand the Regiment?
Many thanks,

I'm afraid not. My grandfather was Louis Hermann Wilhelm Otto Mueller, born in Braunsweig in 1890, died in Bremen in 1940. I have since found some information on his regiment from the US archives: http://www.vlib.us/wwi/resources/germanarmywwi.html I've narrowed down his division to one of 3 (234th, 235th or 236th) and have pieced together his 1918 movements on the western front, but have not tracked down anything for his time on the eastern front in 1915 - his photos only say "Russland 1915".
I did find the book in Germany, and have just spent a small fortune to purchase and ship it over. My Father will translate the relevent sections for me.
The Prussian: Do you know the name of the volunteer whose picture you sent?
The picture attached is of his regiment in early 1918 - my Grandfather is on the far right.
