Hi, what a great pictures you found, Prussian. About the one showing the group of Bavarian Officers, I´m trying to give a name to them. I numbered as ¨1¨ who I think is Rupprecht, Crown Prince of Bavaria. I´ll try to ID the Generals

You know the names of all "Karl Friedrich" orders and medal wearers were published some years ago by Zelosko?!
Sorted by name, not by year or class, which makes it difficult to check against yours... though, probably of interest.
Interesting! I didn´t know a complete list was already published. Basically, anyway, I´m interested doing a list of the awarded only during the ¨Napoleonic¨ years

Hi Ian, the name of the woman is Cecilia (that´s her signature). The name of the man is Luciano. If you analyze his surname, you can read VELLARDO, VELTARDO or VELTARSO. I can´t find any reference on any of these names, unluckily. The picture was taken in Klagenfurt (Austria) if I´m correct...By now is all I can say about it

Hi, the name of the man coud be LUCIANO VELLARDO or VELTARDO... but I still don´t know who he is.
Why are you saying he could have been some sort of liason officer or military attache in Warsaw in the late 1930s ?
I´ll keep on searching

Beautiful !!
Order and the document are in perfect conditions. Congratulations.
These were given to a Swiss citizen awarded with a Cavaliere degree (lowest degree of this order).
Degrees were as follow:
Cavaliere
Cavaliere Ufficiale
Commendatore
Grand'Ufficiale
Gran Croce
In this case, the medal was inserted in the medal bar on the chest
