Hi Graham,
Thanks for that but sporran wrong for Canadian Scottish from what I've just researched.
Initially thought Black Watch but can't think how he would have ended up with them. He's
English. Born Shropshire but not on 1911 census.
I know pic not brilliant but cap badge looked BW to me and they have sporran with 5
tassels

Nice little group there. Who are you with?
Starting to slow down now lol and only 42.
For the GSM and Gulf 1 I was serving with 5 Hvy RA
The Afghan, Iraq and Non Art 5 I've earnt since with the Mobile Met Unit,
an RAF sponsored reserve unit. In real life I now work for the Met Office.
Not a lot of stories to tell. I do have a nice piece of 120mm rocket, courtesy of
the Iraqis back in 2007 (plenty of incoming that year) which landed 20m away. I kept damn low for that and then
broke cover and did a spot of first aid with a colleauge on a couple of wounded
Americans.

wow! Nice one.
You've been busy over the past 23 years.
Is/are the only thing(s) missing the not-allowed-to-be-worn Kuwaiti and Saudi medals?
I reckon your bar is worth my mortgage for @ 4 months.
Thanks!... The ones I can't wear are as you said, Kuwait and Saudi medals but also NATO ISAF
Not sure one valuation but hoping you have a very large house then

Any medals are always welcome - if you check out The Lounge, I think it is, there's a "Post Your Own" thread - you'll find a load of GMIC members glittery shiny things, with some details of service.
I've tried to hunt down the link to the thread, but have'nt found it.......
Many thanks Leigh

Hallo Ian,
Needless to say your father was in a Polish Unit.
Really would need to see better pictures or scans of the medals.
Number 1 is a Jerusalem Cross.
Number 2. possibly a Polish Military Service Medal.
Number 3, I believe is a Polish Regiment Cross.
Number 4 & 5 for the moment unknown.
By the way looking at the British mini medals,
one of the larger British Stars is missing from the set.
Kevin in Deva.
Many thanks Kevin. Yes father was 3rd Battalion, 1st Independent Parachute Brigade. Arnhem vet and won Cross of Valour there. Other brothers looking for 1939-1945 star as I write.

Hope some one can help. I have been charged with getting my fathers medals reribboned and re mounted. For most of medals I am fine,
There are a few on picture that can't identify.. Hoping someone knows what they are. Have marked unknown with white dot next to them.
Many thanks in anticipation.
