      Anyone have a good photo off this award? I have heard of it when I was in Saudi, but never seen a closeup photo of it.

      AWESOME!!! German U-boat stuff is so popular, you never really get to see the US Silent Service stuff. It's amazing when you actually get to see items like these. How rare would you rare US Submariner items?? You never really see them.

      Close up of one skull. I see one individual with a Observer badge on in the back row, I dont know if this is a flight group, or a gathering just for the photo. Since I only see one aviation badge, I assume it is just a gathering for a photo.

      I was able to snag this photo off e-bay last week. I thought it was a neat chance to look at a very nice visor with skull attachment. The officer is wearing what looks like a field grey Attila.

      Outstanding!!! Thanks a ton guys for the information! I'm in the process of learning the Wrappen for the spiked helmet, and I understood the Landstrum wore the cross--but this leather "baseball hat" was outside my scope..thank you very much for the information!! Rick, I agree--they might as well have placed a big bulls-eye on their shakos for some French sniper.

      Hi all, I just recieved this photo, and I am not sure the unit designation. Is this a Landstrom Jager? The shako has quite a shine to it, so in the second close up I played with the color scheme to bring out the insignia. Thank you for the help!
