The beautiful carved bust is proving somewhat tricky to identify, even looking at all the names of the families recorded on the tablets so far I have not been able to connect a specific name to the bust, (probably its staring me right in the face) The carved medal bar would indicate a veteran of the 1877/78 Independance War. While the breast insignia and medals on the chest & tunic opening shows high awards from the Austrian Emperor Franz Josef. Kevin in Deva. :beer:
