    1. Much of the lettering is not crisply defined. I personally would pass on this one.

      But I have made a close study of pictures once again.

      In spite of all the above-mentioned lacks of the award, small details in a figure of a bear are top-quality made! Just take note of the bear's teeth! Besides, a good indication is that the crown isn't connected to a ribbon of the legend. The award is made from fine silver and looks pretty old...Maybe it can be original private made piece nevertheless?

      It is a crown of the King Louis-Philippe period. It is not a trefoil, but a "fleuron" (a sort of flower) in French.

      Usually, the crowns of this period don't have this kind of ornament at the top. This kind of crowns with that kind of cross-like "fleuron" have been reported sometimes.
