    1. A beautiful Order of Maria Cristina 1st class, awarded to a General of Cavalry when he was a officer fighting in the Cuba war 1896-1898, this order was stablished by Queen Maria Cristina on her regency in 1890, it's a early sample, in my oppinion the nicest spanish decoration design.

      spanish award WWII

Hi! Spain not fought directly in WWII, but sent a volunteer corp for combat in Russia aganist Comunism, the famous "Blue Division", but his official name is "Spanish Volunteer Division", the most common spanish award is the following: Conmemorative medals of Russian campaign, exist two categories: for soldiers and NCO's (photo), Diez & Cia production, and other for officers, private jewelers production, and made in three pieces, very scarce (and reproducted! be carefull with it). After 40's others makers produce them, but the one of photo is the genuine medal awarded to volunteers. Oh, a note, this medal have a case, but never a packet! on ebay a guy is selling repros...take care, I promess a good topic with detailled photos for recognize the good ones.
