Hi Wood,
After reading the posting from the third party collector and everything had sunk in - rare, rare, rare, ran through my mind, I was electrified, this morning I couldn't get round quick enough to the seller. Bought it - 30 euro - measures 2,1cm x 3,6cm, backing my judgment I think its one rare bird.

Hi Wood,
It seems your guess was right - its a organizations badge - a collector from another forum informs me DM = Deutsche Mannschaft, a organisation made up of ethnic Germans living in Crotia & Bosnia. Created June 1941 as a para-military militia for self-defence purposes fighting against partisans. It existed until 1943

Hello James,
Many thanks for your cogent reply. I take it, when you refer to font style oval & round, its what I would call, pin retaining plate ? yes. - Again thanks for the posting.
Best Wishes

Hello Wood,
Thanks for the posting - I forgot to mention, that I'd looked through Tieste without success. I think you may be right saying its an organisation badge or it may be a large firms special badge. I take it, it not that collectible as they say in the antique road show ?

Hello Everyone,
I've been offered a Heer & Police belt buckle.Comparing them with the examples on forums database. To my eyes, the Heer buckle looks OK ( crisp detail on the reverse, along withmakers stamp). The police buckle I'm not so sure of, no makers mark, reverse detail doesn't look so sharp, but then what do I know. Cananyone help me out on these two buckles.

Hi Gentlemen,
Came across this members badge. The front seems to be quantity enameled, the reverse has no RZM stamp or numbers - completely blank. Were these badges made before the introduction of the RZM standard ? and is this badge original ? any help appreciated

Looking at the stampings again, I think Heer issue. I ran German Army Cutlery throughgoogle and a couple military forums at the weekend, in the hope of bringing a couple of pictures out, to use as a comparison. There seems a dearth of pictures. I'll run the same posting through a couple of German Military sites in the next couple of days, perhaps it will throw up a few pictures.

Hello Gents,
I picked these up at the fleamarket on Saturday. Reasonable price - one euro a piece, altogether five pieces, looking at the stamping Eagle, Swazy, circular Wreath, think they may be from a police canteen. Any thoughts anyone ? Regards
