    1. Kreis Augsburg Land - NSDAP

      - Die Fahne Hoch - metal with the makers stamp on back - C.DRENTWETT - Augsburg. Not exactly a day tinnie. A little unsure exactly what it commemorates, maybe the acceptance of new flag colours? don't believe it has anything to do with a meeting as no date given. Looking through my Tieste cataloge, I see its appears but has no year given or extra information. Any member know anything ?

    2. Hi,

      Picked up this nice old Hj Sportmeisterschaft Tinnie - Bann B20 Allgäu 8.7.34.last week. Wanted to know where the meeting took place,I like a bit of background detail. Came up with - B20 was introduced August 1, 1933, existing in the Hochland-district, wearing a yellow Oberbann-color (headquarters at Kempten);

      January 1, 1936 the number was changed into 320. With the date April 15, 1939 the district became Schwaben. Its headquaters were transferred to Sonthofen.

    3. Hello All,

      I've been offered three badges, each is in its own way is different. I hope someone can give a opinion as to whether they are genuine pieces or not, here goes, first from left is a Oferring "Freiheitsbund" der NSADAP looking at the picture and comparing it to the drawn picture in my H?sken handbook the difference is the actual one has this black border ring. The middle ring is I believe a supporter's badge although I have not found it in my hand books, the inscription on the edge is " Heil Hitler. Lundendorff. v Gr?fe " - I've never come across such a badge, real or fantasy? the third on the right is a Deutscher Jugend shooting badge, which normally has either side of the crossed guns the initials D J - any ideas why this one has not. Of the three the one that interests me especially is the middle one, if you know what it is and could you give me a rough price. Thanks everyone in advance

    4. Hello All,

      Picked up these two badges at the weekend, a patriotic badge with the head of Hindenburg & Hitler with dates 30.1.1933 & 5.3.1933 ? first date the appointment of Hitler as Chancellor in January 1933 ? second date March 1933 Hindenburg signed the Enabling Act of 1933 which gave special powers to Hitler?s government.

      Second badge is more of a mystery ? script reads ?GEB. A. u. J.G.B. ? Tag Sonthofen 13-14.9.24 which I take as means Gebirges Artillery and J?ger Gebirges Battalion Day ? Sonthofen 13 /14. 9.24 ? I looked through my Tieste catalogue and drew a blank on both. I was wondering if any member has come across them.

      Regards

    5. Hello Chris,

      Welcome to the forum. I wouldn?t write this medal off to soon, you can certainly forget the ribbon, and any thoughts of a combat medal, but the helmet motif is very similar to a tinnie of mine commemorating Army Day Frankfurt am Main 16.3.36. As commemoration medals & badges were widely produced in the Third Reich culture, this well maybe an Army sympathiser / supporter medal. One caveat is the lack of date or script on the medal, usually there is one to associate medal and occasion, perhaps a collector in this area offer up some explanation, if not put it on ebay with a blacked out swastika for 10 pound.

      Regards

    6. Hello All,

      Returned on Saturday evening from a very cold and wintry day out, in North Bavaria. Found / bought a couple of Handwerk tinnies, a HJ 1937 pin badge, and the jewel of the bunch Bavarian Ski Championship 1938 ? Oberstaufen. Have looked through my Tieste catalogue couldn?t find it, then again my Tieste catalogue is the first edition ? perhaps it?s in a later one, could someone look it up and say which rarity group it falls into.

      Thanks & Best Wishes
