Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Fernanda
There were two different varieties of these, full material and hollow. This one is obviously the former. Maybe it's the picture quality, but the features appear a little rough. Also, I have only seen the wider, sturdier pin on these. Sorry, not sure.

The better photo of the large Deschler confirms it is original. See the little indentation in the silver border above the "IA" in "SOZIALISTISCHE"? Only found on originals. Now you know most of my identifying secrets of genuine badges.
Over the years you have certainly paid a lot of attention to the tiniest details, which is needed these days to be sure. And the experience, of course. Thanks again for the lesson, Stephen.

Thanks to everyone, the discussion is very much appreciated. I will post the higher resolution pictures of the Deschler tonight.
Below are the pictures. What strikes me as odd is that some letters on the pin plate are not properly embossed; the "D" of DESCHLER appears to be missing !

Here are the new pictures. What about the out-of-place "7" ?

Stan,
The badge shown is a no-brainer and is 100% authentic with no alterations or embellishments.
Stan, are you sure that this is the same badge that you originally sent to me and inquired for my opinion? It seems to me that the badge that you sent to me had a reattached pin plate, had solder seeping around the pin plate and if I am not remiss, the pin plate was replaced upside down?
Best regards,
John
John,
you are looking for this one. It was me rather than Stan asking your opinion. I am in contact with the seller to get close-ups of the Fuess.
Opinions are welcome.

Looking for comments on this set, please. John P. has a concern regarding the 24mm Fuess.
Nobody ?

I cannot help it, but the "1" looks funny to me. However, not like a proper "7" either.

I have just read through this thread with great interest. I notice that Detlev Niemann sold Rosenberg's Coburg Badge with document in August 2000 for ?7,160.
Stan
In August 2000 Niemann would have still used Deutschmarks.
