Hallo Gentlemen,

Its always nice when you spot something on the net that relates to an unknown piece in your collection, well I knew the country of origin, just didnt know what it was for.

Over the weekend I spotted an item similar to one that has been in my possesion for many years, I was always under the impression it was a cap-badge

Despite carrying the words "BELGIAN ARMY IN UNITED KINGDOM." it was issued to the Belgian Airforce and Navy in the U.K.

Anyway the US seller of his item also posted a link to a webpage:

My piece has a wood backdrop, the American- piece as blue astroturf

I believe mine to be a variant of the "GAUNT" type. the pin fixes at an angle across the badge, not in a straight line, it could also be the result of "Monday morning" syndrome
