"Werkschutz" Insignia--- That ISN'T

I'm sure somebody out there can show one of these admittedly imposing and "martial" looking oval sleeve insignias-- which I have seen described for decades as "WW2 Werkschutz" (factory civil defense).

But THIS is an advertisement from a German 1954 genealogical book that just came in today:

NOT "Werkschutz"-- this is ACTUALLY the logo of the "Allianz" Life Insurance Company. Very probably not even WW2.

Learning new things every day... sometimes entirely by (pardon the situational not quite pun)... accident!
