Heer Krim shield help

I listed this Krim shield on a different thread but had no responses. I was wondering which maker could have made this shield? I carefully removed the back plate and wool material but found no maker mark. The only thing I found was some green looking stuff on the shields back in the crevices any help would be appreciated.

Difficult to say with these pictures but I'd say this is a fake based on the JFS......try and get some sharper pics.

Hi...JFS was the maker 'Josef Feix und Sohne' but the shield you've posted is a copy of this shield below. Hope that helps............Peter

Thanks for the scan, the shield was given to me along with several other items. I was wondering about the shield due to the way the eagles eye on the head looked. I really don't collect them but was interested in knowing if the shield was authentic or not.
