Benas Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Still one for me unknown badge. On badge year 1914. Likely this badge related to WW-1. If possible please help to identify this badge.
Kev in Deva Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Hallo Benas,For the moment I would have to think that this is some kind of unofficial cross, possibly, what falls into the catagory of "Patriotika", the Austrians as well as the Prussians had many unofficial awards that were sold to the public and soldiers to raise monies for the war effort or charities connected with helping the relief of wounded soldiers and their families. It also looks like there is no maker mark and just carrying the date 1014 might indicate a very early piece of "Patriotika"I am sure if any of the members do know exactly what its for they will soon tell us.Kevin in Deva.
Benas Posted July 1, 2007 Author Posted July 1, 2007 Kevin, thank you for opinion. We will wait opinion also from other Club members.
Josef Rietveld Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 It is a badge from the Schwarz-Gelbes-Kreuz (Black-Yellow-Cross) that was given for Donations.haynau
