I hope this is the appropriate catagory for this question. I've haven't had any luck when posting this elsewhere but here it goes:

Can anyone provide a scan of a KM officer wearing his dagger from the "undress" belt (the thin black belt with a smaller buckle than a brocade) over a white tunic?

Or did they only wear it in this manner over the blue reafer?

Aside from people not following regulations, I think that daggers were worn ONLY from left pocket straps on a white uniform-- no belt worn with that at all, ever, except for when that was used as summer "full" dress (with sword and the normal bullion dress belt).

I would believe this of a white Heer or Luft tunic, but would your assumption apply to a KM white tunic? The KM dagger hangers are suspended at the top much differently since they are two separate straps, one being much longer than the other (not from a single joining point as a Heer or Luft) so cannot be done so from under a pocket flap.

I just find this to be an interesting question which would be nice to see in a period photo. I have limited KM photos so all I've seen is the dagger worn from this style belt over an overcoat. Does anyone out there have anything further?
